Dresses like this, as I think I mentioned with the brown one posted a few days ago, I always think of as teacher dresses or Mary Poppins dresses despite the fact that teachers don’t wear stuff like this anymore. This dress is kind of a miracle, though. Not only is the wide self belt intact and in good shape, but the big ole bow around the neck that is also a belt thing is ALSO intact and in great shape! So somehow over the past mumble years I managed to keep track of ALL THREE PIECES. The material is kind of a rough cottonish something or other.
The dress is fully lined with a kind of amberish satin, except the sleeves, which are translucent. The dress also appeared on stage in a children’s musical set in the 70s, so it’s a diva! The tag is “Miss Sandy” and it’s missing one button which we can discuss how to replace.
