Dreamy 40’s…Giraffe Print??

I mean, this dang gorgeous dress. It’s a kind of taffeta satin whatever — I do not know my fabrics, friends — and I don’t know if you can call this a giraffe print, but my kids did and it stuck. I do like giraffes, don’t you?

Dress is in great shape. Plus sash belt with fringe! There is some mild discoloration in the armpits where it’s a little pink. Back zipper. It’s got nice shaping darts, a saucy kick pleat in back, and no tag that I could see. It could have been taken off, though. Just like I’m not the fabric expert, I dunno if this was commercially produced unless there’s a tag in my face saying it was. All I know is I love this dress and I bet you will, too.
